Summary

This position will be responsible for coordinating and managing installations. This Project Manager will coordinate multiple sub contract crews with multiple jobs per crew, while meeting the clients’ goals and objectives.  No travel is required for this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maximize monthly installations and meet or exceed customers’ needs and expectations. 
  • Review installation documentation for contractual and customer’s objectives and saving all documentation in database. 
  • Balancing competing demands in logistics, schedule, cost, and quality objectives for installation projects. 
  • Acting as customer and vendor liaison for system implementation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and (ERP) Enterprise resource planning software (i.e. Sedona).
  • Inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Accounting functions including closing out jobs upon completion.
  • Negotiating with installers, third parties and others for successful execution of projects.
  • Relationship building with employees, customers, installers, and other company resources.
  • Minimum of two years of Project management experience.
  • Have extensive experience with budgeting, scheduling and contract review. 
  • Have a proven track record managing multiple projects for external customers. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; multi-tasking capabilities. 
  • Ability to work well with peers, supervisors, contractors and others to make pressured decisions. 
  • Self-motivated and open-minded. 
  • Ability to oversee sub-contractors and project conflicts.

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous management experience is a plus. 

Language Skills 

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Salesforce, Sedona, and Project Manager software

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Overnight Travel Overnight travel is expected for this position. Expected overnight travel is 0-4 days per year.
