2011 SUCCESS TRIGGERS TRIPLING OF SALES FORCE AT ELECTRIC GUARD DOG
COLUMBIA, SC - Januray 26, 2011: While other companies continue to suffer losses and staff reductions, new customer sales at Electric Guard Dog grew a solid 25% in 2011. As a direct result, the company will be tripling its regional sales force, effective immediately.
CEO Jack DeMao attributed Electric Guard Dog's success in 2011 to multiple factors. "The experiment we started in 2011 by adding an outside sales force has brought in a flow of new leads and contracts. The results are so encouraging that we're actively recruiting in Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Cincinnati/Columbus and Sacramento. Meanwhile, the economy continues to generate double digit increases in property crime and, conversely, commercial companies need to cut costs. 'No upfront cost' is an attractive offer in this economy, so companies are coming to us to reduce their security costs."
With the new hires, DeMao's 2012 forecasts show the company's new customer sales growing a jaw-dropping 40% over 2011's stellar results.
DeMao's only concern? "Keeping up with demand. My first priority is installer capacity. We're tight right now and we'll need more to support the sales team we're developing."
Electric Guard Dog's spectacular growth has been the talk of the security industry and investors alike. In 2011, they were ranked in both the SDM List of Top 100 Security Companies in the U.S., and Inc.'s 500/5000 List of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.
Electric Guard Dog, the "#1 Theft Deterrent Service in the U.S," is a Security Partner for 3000+ commercial and industrial locations nationwide, protecting businesses, providing a safer work environment for employees, and reducing total security costs.
