How Electric Guard Dog Works
Every Electric Guard Dog perimeter security system we install is customized to your location. We consider property lines, terrain, and building positions on sites ranging from 500 square feet to 400 acres. Our technicians come to your site, determine your security problems, and then build the right security system to solve them.
A Typical Install Will Include:
- 10 ft. high (or higher) fencing installed inside an existing perimeter fence
- A 50-watt solar panel which charges a 12-volt marine battery. In an emergency situation the design of this self-contained system ensures the fence will arm and stay armed for 10 days or more
- 7,000-volts of electricity pulsing through the wires every 1.3 seconds - just long enough to jolt a person away. The voltage is far below international limits for safe electric fencing (IEC 60335-2-76)
- Alarms, audible and silent. They are triggered when intruders try to compromise the fence
- Monitoring of the security system
- Multi-lingual "WARNING! Alarmed Electric Fence 7,000 Volts" signs which are visibly posted
Electric Guard Dog Easily Adapts to Extreme Situations:
- 45 degree lay-down fences to stop tunneling
- Halos stop the use of pole tops for climbing over the fence
- Roof top fencing stops intruders from coming in through the roof
- 360 degree cameras integrate into our system providing remote 'eyes' to the site
- The solar panels, wireless (RF) gates and increased decibel alarms secure remote locations
