If you missed the South Carolina Trucking Association Annual Conference this month, you missed out. There were warnings of trucks potentially being held hostage by hackers, stories of espionage told by a former spy and, as “The Great Debate” show theme suggests, there was a great deal of political commentary.
The Used Truck Association expected big things in Dallas and the UTA 16th Annual Convention delivered. With a record number of 807 attendees and 90 exhibitors, it was the event’s biggest vendor participation and biggest attendance to date.
Hosted by the Carolina Traffic and Transportation Club Team, the Logistics Insights Conference (LIFTCON) promotes the interests of transportation industry and provides opportunities for logistic professionals to network. This year’s conference contained compelling information regarding the expanding role Southeastern transportation facilities and companies are now playing in the national supply chain.
As one of the proud sponsors of The North Carolina League of Transportation and Logistics Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC, we at Electric Guard Dog were there for the event. Congratulations to Fred Piercy, Sr. of CV International for receiving the Bill H. Teague Lifetime Achievement Award — well deserved.
