The Rental Show 2017: Breaking Records

The American Rental Association reported the highest attendance in over a decade at The Rental Show 2017, which kicked off with legendary comedian, world-renowned car guy and former host of The Tonight Show, Jay Leno. But what else would you expect from this premier annual event that brings together the big names and brightest minds in the equipment rental industry?

The trade show floor was sold out for the fifth straight year and growth in rental business attendance (6,276 attendees this year) grew for the eighth consecutive year. The show also featured top-notch educational sessions focused on:

  • HR concerns for employers today
  • Responding to change in your customers
  • Safe equipment operations
  • Leading a culture of excellence

Officer Pat McGrail of the Hurst (Texas) Police Department kindly brought 20 police officers from around the country to our booth to learn about Electric Guard Dog. They participated in a demonstration of our electric security fence system, which encouraged others to “touch the fence” as well, and it was a big hit. The video below is our “best of show” demonstration. Like many ohers, he didn't go away disappointed!

The Rental Show is a perennial favorite of ours each year. Electric Guard Dog is proud to support ARA and serve as a security partner for its members across the nation.
